Nine official index elements

The official Wiki currently filters Aniimo by holy, fire, ice, dark, electric, grass, water, rock, and wind. These labels are confirmed; a complete numerical weakness chart is not.

Five listed roles

The same index lists DPS, Heal, Support, BREAK, and REGEN. A creature may contribute through damage, recovery, buffs or control, defense breaking, or energy recovery rather than raw attack alone.

Counters in beta

An official beta handbook mentioned fire, water, grass, and lightning counters and recommended a balanced roster for Alpha battles. The full release matchup chart and damage multipliers have not been published.

Dual-element and form changes

Official entries can show more than one element or different forms. Nimbi, for example, is listed with wind and electric variants, so one name does not always describe a single combat profile.

Building teams responsibly

Do not treat a role filter as a tier ranking. Release testing must account for skills, traits, forms, enemy weaknesses, stamina and team synergy.

Roles describe jobs, not a required five-member template

The official index labels DPS, HEAL, SUPPORT, BREAK and REGEN, but a team cannot be judged by badges alone. Version 1.0 community records describe a practical core of damage, controlled BREAK and sustain, with the remaining slot chosen for the current encounter. This is a planning framework, not an official mandatory composition.

Solo and team combat use rosters differently

A version 1.0 combat record distinguishes solo combat, where players can switch among the roster, from team activities where supporting slots may enter through their configured core skills. Before copying a rotation, confirm the mode, active slot and whether each support actually has a usable core skill.

BREAK is a timing window

Community public-build records describe BREAK as pressure on a target gauge followed by a short opening. Prepare the DPS member's EP, position and relevant buffs before triggering it; opening BREAK while the carry is empty or unavailable wastes the opportunity. The official public site does not publish one universal BREAK multiplier.

REGEN and HEAL solve different failures

REGEN helps the team repeat skills by supporting EP flow, while HEAL protects combat uptime. A roster that survives but cannot complete a rotation may need REGEN; one that loses time dodging or reviving may need HEAL. Read each live skill rather than treating the role label as the full effect.

Match the skill, not only the creature badge

Community version 1.0 records warn that the element used by a move and the current form can matter to the matchup. Check the actual equipped skill, target form and support condition before assuming the species label creates an advantage.

A safe combat diagnosis

Change one variable at a time: verify target form and element, confirm the DPS skill element, watch whether BREAK opens on command, check EP at the opening, then test whether Support and sustain effects overlap the intended window. Only after the rotation works should permanent upgrades be blamed.

FAQ

How many elements are in Aniimo?

The official Wiki currently lists nine: Holy, Fire, Ice, Dark, Electric, Grass, Water, Rock and Wind.

What roles are in Aniimo?

The official index uses DPS, Heal, Support, Break and Regen role labels.

What are the Aniimo element counters?

Official beta material mentioned counters involving Fire, Water, Grass and Electric, but the complete launch-version matchup chart and numerical multipliers have not been published.

Is an Aniimo role the same as a tier ranking?

No. A role describes a combat function, while a tier ranking requires release-version testing of skills, stats, forms and team synergy.

Do I need one Aniimo from every role?

No official rule requires all five role labels in one team. Cover damage, BREAK and sustain first, then use the remaining space for the encounter and current skills.

What should I prepare before BREAK?

Have the intended DPS ready with enough EP, correct position and relevant buffs. Version 1.0 records treat BREAK as a planned handoff, not a button to trigger immediately.

Are REGEN and HEAL interchangeable?

No. Their role labels point to different jobs: REGEN supports repeatable skill use, while HEAL restores health and protects uptime. Individual skills still decide the exact effect.

Does an Aniimo's listed element determine every attack?

Not necessarily. Community public-build records say to check the element on the equipped move and the target's current form before judging the matchup.

Are published damage multipliers official?

The official Wiki confirms labels but does not publish a complete numerical chart. Treat extracted-client multipliers as versioned community evidence, not permanent official rules.
