How to Build an Aniimo Team
Build a flexible Aniimo team with the five official role labels and nine-element roster. Includes a practical starter framework without pretending it is an official tier list.

Start with official labels, not a copied tier list
The official Compendium currently organizes Aniimo by five role labels—DPS, BREAK, SUPPORT, HEAL and REGEN—and nine elements. Those labels are reliable navigation facts. Exact rankings, universal best teams and damage multipliers are not published as official rules, so this guide keeps editorial recommendations separate from official data.
A safe starter core: damage, Break and sustain
Aniimo.GG recommends beginning with one DPS option, one BREAK option and one sustain option from HEAL or REGEN. This is an editorial resource-saving framework, not an official required formation. It gives early upgrades a clear purpose while leaving room to adapt after you read each Aniimo's live skill page.

Use the flexible slot to answer the encounter
Fill the remaining space with SUPPORT, a second damage option, extra sustain or an element that improves your coverage. Change that choice when an encounter asks for faster breaking, safer recovery, more damage or a different element instead of investing in one permanent team for every activity.
Treat HEAL and REGEN as labels, not identical kits
Both labels point toward sustain, but the role name alone does not prove how quickly, how often or under what conditions an Aniimo restores resources. Read the individual skill text before deciding which one fits your team; do not infer exact mechanics from the filter label.
Build element coverage gradually
The official index exposes nine elements, which makes coverage useful when you expand the roster. It does not establish that beginners must raise one Aniimo of every element immediately. Strengthen a small usable core first, then add alternatives when the live encounter or skill text gives you a concrete reason.
Use the Compendium as the source of truth
Filter the official Compendium by role and element, then compare those entries with Aniimo.GG's bilingual index and each official detail page. Recheck after version updates: roles, skills and balance can change, and an editorial framework should never override current in-game text.
Multiplayer needs a separate decision
The version 1.1 notice says Holo-Battle team leaders choose between buffs after each win. That cooperative rule is activity-specific and does not prove a universal solo roster size or one best composition. Agree on damage, breaking and sustain coverage with the group instead of assuming a solo template applies unchanged.
Aniimo.GG starter framework
| Team need | Safe starting role | When to change it |
|---|---|---|
| Reliable damage | DPS | Add or swap when the encounter favors another kit or element |
| Faster stagger pressure | BREAK | Adjust when breaking is less valuable than survival or damage |
| Sustain | HEAL or REGEN | Choose from the actual skill text, not the label alone |
| Flexible answer | SUPPORT, second damage, sustain or coverage | Match the activity and your current roster |
This matrix is Aniimo.GG editorial guidance based on official role labels. It is not an official formation, tier list or promise about team size.
FAQ
What is the best beginner team in Aniimo?
There is no single officially published best beginner team. A practical starting point is damage, BREAK, sustain and a flexible answer, then adapt to the Aniimo and activity you actually have.
What is the difference between HEAL and REGEN?
They are separate official Compendium labels, but the label alone does not define every skill condition or value. Read the current individual skill page before choosing.
Do I need to build every element immediately?
No official source requires that. Build a compact core first and add element coverage when encounters or verified skill interactions justify the cost.
Are Compendium roles a tier list?
No. DPS, BREAK, SUPPORT, HEAL and REGEN describe official categories; they do not rank strength or guarantee a particular team slot.
Is this an official team composition?
No. The role and element labels are official; the starter-core arrangement is clearly identified Aniimo.GG editorial advice.
