Intel 13th/14th-Gen stability notice

Pawprint Studio reports that some desktop PCs with affected 13th- or 14th-Gen Intel Core processors may crash, freeze, show graphical errors, report out-of-VRAM, or blue-screen when using outdated microcode. This is a processor stability notice, not a claim that every Intel system is affected.

What to do if those symptoms occur

Follow Intel’s or your motherboard maker’s BIOS instructions, update to the latest BIOS, and use Intel microcode 0x12B or later as the official notice recommends. The notice also links Intel XTU and describes lowering the Performance Core multiplier by 2–3 steps; change firmware or tuning settings only if you understand the risks or have manufacturer support.

DLSS 4.5 is officially announced

Pawprint Studio announced NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution using a second-generation transformer model. The announcement describes dynamic frame multipliers intended to balance frame rate, image quality and responsiveness.

What DLSS support does not yet confirm

The official announcement does not provide a final supported-GPU table, launch preset list, latency measurements or per-resolution performance. AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, ray tracing and a frame-rate cap have not been officially confirmed in the sources checked.

Storage, laptop and handheld planning

Keep additional space beyond the listed 40 GB for unpacking, shader caches and patches. Mobile GPU names do not map directly to desktop cards, and Steam Deck compatibility remains unconfirmed.

Internet requirement

Steam requires broadband internet and lists online interaction. Even for solo play, plan for downloads, account services and online checks.
