Does Aniimo have multiplayer and crossplay?

Yes. Steam lists single-player, online co-op, online PvP and cross-platform multiplayer. The official account FAQ says progress is shared across platforms on the same server, while different servers keep separate progress.

Holo-Battle Interlink is the current four-player co-op mode

The official version 1.1 notice says players can form a four-player team or match with AI teammates. It opens at Trailblazer I and runs Thursday through Monday according to each server's listed time zone.

Three routes, stars and team-leader decisions

Holo-Battle has three challenge routes. Players choose a team and starting buff; after each win the Team Leader selects one of two buffs for the group. Highest stars and weekly rewards make role coverage and communication more useful than one universal team.

Three-player Egg Heist is a separate PvEvP mode

Egg Heist uses a three-person team to gather supplies, enter a forbidden area, fight other Pathfinders and extract eggs. Chaos Mode has its own Tier IV Elite Egg Seeker requirement and is not Holo-Battle's cooperative route-and-star format.

Companion Mode and trading are community verified

A version 1.0 in-game-help record documents friends, Affinity, Aniimo Exchange and Companion Mode. These details explain how players meet and travel together, but every trading limit remains subject to the current client.

Story and host-world boundaries still need care

Official pages do not fully define guest main-story credit, permanent travel unlocks, shared catching ownership or every host-world rule. Activity-specific group sizes do not prove the full campaign supports the same size.

What same-server progress does and does not answer

Same-server progress does not confirm cross-server transfer, shared purchases or every friend and voice-chat limit. Check the dedicated Crossplay guide before changing platform or server.

Affinity is the gate, not proof of a fixed trade table

Version-labelled public-build 1.0 records show that playing together raises Affinity and unlocks Aniimo Exchange, Companion Mode gifting and social gestures. Exact thresholds, daily allowances, eligible forms and costs are client rules; read the current Friends profile and exchange panel rather than copying an old number.

Use the correct transfer route

Aniimo Exchange starts from a friend relationship and involves both players reviewing an offered Aniimo. Companion Mode gifting is a separate route for an eligible catch made during the group session. Do not assume an exchange rule, limit or form list automatically applies to a Companion Mode gift.

Inspect identity before accepting

Check the exact species and form, Potential distribution, personality, rarity, training investment and any lock shown by the current client. A matching portrait does not prove that the offered copy is the one discussed. Both players should compare the final preview before confirming.

A safe friend-session workflow

Add the Pathfinder through the current Friends interface, play together until the relevant Affinity feature is visibly unlocked, choose Exchange or Companion Mode gifting intentionally, remove an Aniimo from unavailable assignments if the client requires it, compare both sides, then record the client version and result. Never pay another player real money or share an account for a trade.

FAQ

How many players are in Holo-Battle Interlink?

The official version 1.1 notice says four players can form a team, with AI matchmaking also available.

When is Holo-Battle Interlink open?

The official schedule runs Thursday through Monday using server-local time zones. Check the live event panel for the exact window.

How many players are in Egg Heist?

The official Egg Heist description specifies a three-player team.

Is Aniimo crossplay or cross-save?

The official FAQ says progress is shared across platforms on the same server; different servers remain separate.

Can I play Aniimo solo?

Yes. Single-player is listed, and Holo-Battle offers AI teammates; other multiplayer activities can have different solo rules.

Can you exchange Aniimo with strangers?

Version 1.0 community records describe Aniimo Exchange as a friend feature, not an anonymous market. Verify the current Friends profile before planning a transfer.

Are trade limits and costs permanent?

No. They are live-client values and can change. This guide deliberately does not convert third-party numbers into permanent official rules.

Is Companion Mode gifting the same as Aniimo Exchange?

No. Community client records describe them as separate routes with different context and eligibility checks.

What should I verify before accepting?

Check exact form, Potential, personality, rarity, training, restrictions and the final preview on both accounts.

Can I buy an Aniimo from another player for real money?

Do not use real-money or account-sharing arrangements. They create fraud, account and terms-of-service risks outside the in-game workflow.
